About Us - Our Story

We are the Dickson's and welcome to our family-owned coffee roastery, where every bean we roast is guided by a deeper purpose. What started as a shared passion for great coffee has grown into something much more—a way for our family to serve others and glorify Jesus in all that we do.

It all started when we found a need for quality, organic coffee at an affordable price. John began the research and discovered we could obtain green beans sourced all over the world. He started with a $20 popcorn popper and began the quest to provide us quality coffee roasted in our own home (well... backyard, the chaffs flew everywhere!). The taste was unmatched, we could actually taste the notes that coffee connoisseurs would talk about. The hobby initially started just for us but as time went on and we discussed our new hobby with friends and family, everyone showed a large interest in trying our coffee. That's when we realized, we had something other people desired too.

We soon upgraded to a commercial machine and began operating as a licensed business. We love serving our community with high-quality, organic coffee at various events and markets in the area. One of the aspects we love most about the events is that we get to participate as a family. Coming from corporate jobs, we have always desired to have something we get to work towards as a family and pass down to our children someday.
